One of the fastest growing family-owned convenience store chains in the nation, Sheetz wanted to refresh and expand their food and drink offering, from fountain drinks and coffee, to a new creamery.
Open 24/7/365, Sheetz is one of the fastest growing family- owned convenience store chains in the nation - with more than 437 locations across six states. Sheetz is about delicious food and “providing kicked-up convenience while being more than just a convenience store.”
They were looking to increase revenue by refreshing, and expanding, their food and drink offerings, from fountain drinks and coffee, to a new creamery. We were able to turn their vision into reality.
Colorful zone makeovers make all the difference
With the decision to remove shelf space to make room for new categories, Sheetz then approached VGS to figure out how to go to market. We gave each zone a complete makeover, capturing the look of the Sheetz brand while incorporating their new vision.
Studio D designed all graphic elements, and VGS engineered, manufactured and installed the entire project over the course of five months.
LED-illuminated cups, chalkboard-style Coffee Zones and a digital Creamery ticker
The existing “Fizz City” Fountain Drink area is now branded “FountainWorkz” and includes an LED-illuminated, multi-color cup that changes color, as a focal point.
A brand new Creamery features self-serve ice cream machines and a self-serve toppings bar, with bright, “refreshing” graphics and a new digital ticker.
The Coffee zone also got an overhaul, complete with a chalkboard-style “coffee house” feel and two digital screens.
